So easy to use and gives nice illumination for evergreen 5 sided tree. A charge lasts a good while and the glow is substantial Much better than battery operated. Love it

The new model is so much better and has a different design to charge and turn on and off. Charger is not compatible with older models.

Although very expensive, the illumination base adds to the impact of the Vela Egg.
