The four-sided form alone requires a glassblower to hold the piece in precise tension as it cools, working the branches while the shape sets. Then comes the thermal shock: a deliberate plunge into cool water that fractures each face with its own distinct pattern of crackle. Our Illumination Base comes in two sizes: the small base is best for trees 8" and smaller, and the large base is for trees 10" and up. Both have rechargeable batteries and three brightness settings.
