The four-sided form alone requires a glassblower to hold the piece in precise tension as it cools, working the branches while the shape sets. Then comes the thermal shock: a deliberate plunge into cool water that fractures each face with its own distinct pattern of crackle. Four sides multiply the effect, each one catching light differently, each one its own. Under light it’s an extraordinary showpiece that earns every inch of shelf space.
